CODE OF CONDUCT
We, at the Crystalline Film Festival, pride ourselves on upholding a strict position of integrity as both individuals and a company. We value honesty and transparency, professionalism and responsibility, and authenticity and artful storytelling.
As a festival, we are committed to creating a community that is inclusive, diverse, and respectful of the hard work, focus, and passion that goes into filmmaking. We want to honour and celebrate the courage, humility, and trust that each submission requires, as art is, for many, extremely personal, and subjecting it to criticism, even constructive, is not easy.
We understand that film is an extremely vast medium, with which many uncomfortable and controversial subjects are explored. That being said, our tolerance for certain matters ends when the credits begin to roll. By submitting to the Crystalline Film Festival, you agree that you will be representative of the Festival and its brand starting with the acceptance of your film to the Festival.
The following is a list of things for which the Crystalline Film Festival has a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to how an individual conducts themselves outside of the festival. Should the discovery be made that any person involved in the creation of your film is guilty of committing any of the following, it can result in the disqualification of your film, and a request that you not participate in the Festival.
Sexual Assault/Sexual Harrassment
Derogatory or Dehumanizing Slurs (including but not limited to racism, ableism, homophobia, misogyny)
Bullying (in any form)
